Dr Evan Dunn is a fantastic, thorough Dr. Great chair side manner and ensures you understand prognosis. I’ve followed him from the prior practice he was with to Retina Specialists. He is amazing!
Dr. Tarabishy and the entire staff are superb. I’m new to the area and experienced my second vitreous detachment, symptomized by what appears to be lightning flashes when you move your eyes in a dark environment such as nighttime. This is serious because it can lead to retina tears or worse a full retina detachment. I started my Google search for a retina specialist and found Retina Specialists of Tampa, checked out the credentials of both doctors (Dr. T. and Dr. Dunn) and they are both impeccable, as were their reviews. Thank God I was able to see Dr. Tarabishy the next day. He found two small retina tears, one via high-tech camera and the other during his visual exam, because it was obscured on the digital images by my eye-lashes. He was able to repair them in-office using laser technology. This likely saved me from a larger retina detachment, which is very serious and requires a more complex surgery to repair. My follow up visit was great, was reassuring, and I’m now cleared for normal activities. Last week, my wife had to see a highly regarded/rated ophthalmologist/specialist for a different issue, and when I mentioned to him during her visit that I was being treated by Dr. Tarabishy for this issue, he told us that I was in great hands. The entire staff from the front desk to the technicians are all wonderful and great at their jobs. I highly recommend Retina Specialists of Tampa and Dr. Tarabishy if you have a retina issue.
Really good place. The specialist was very good as well. He told me since nothing was wrong with my eyes. I never have to see him again. And I like it when Doctors say stuff like that. The staff is super friendly, the place was exceptionally clean, and I don’t have to go back, but if I did, I would go here.

Everyone was very kind and courteous. Dr. Taribishy had a very calming demeanor! My surgery went perfectly and I couldn't ask for a better doctor!
