Our Response to COVID-19

At Retina Specialists of Tampa, we are committed to the safety of our patients and staff. In light of the increased numbers of Coronavirus (COVID-19) cases in the Tampa Bay area we are taking additional precautions:

 All new and established patients are being pre-screened by our clinical staff. Our front office staff may contact you to reschedule your appointment if it is not considered to be an urgent issue. We will continue to provide care for urgent and emergent retinal conditions.

 We request that any patient with a fever, with respiratory symptoms such as cough or shortness of breath, or that has recently visited areas with known outbreaks please call and we will be happy to reschedule your appointment for a later date. Please call 911 or go to your nearest emergency room if you are experiencing severe symptoms.

 We have modified our cleaning and infection control protocols to mitigate risks within the practice. Patients will be screened when they arrive at the practice for symptoms or risk factors. All visitors other than patient caregivers will be asked to wait outside the facility or in their cars.
